Respicon 2 TM

The Respicon 2 TM is a high-sensitivity gravimetric-photometric sampler tailored for applications requiring precise measurements in the range of 0–10 mg/m³. With a sensitivity of 300 mV/mg/m³, it provides enhanced accuracy for fine particulate monitoring. The device includes an air sampling pump with a flow range of 5–10 L/min and is accompanied by a DALO Data Logger, evaluation software, and a complete cable and USB power supply set for efficient data management.

The Respicon series offers advanced solutions for the simultaneous collection and measurement of airborne particles across three size fractions—inhalable, thoracic, and respirable—as defined by EN 481. Designed in collaboration with the German Institute of Workplace Safety (IFA) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Toxicology and Experimental Medicine (ITEM), these devices measure dust fractions in compliance with TRGS 900 standards.

Each device employs three internal stages to separate dust fractions using virtual impactors. Filters in each stage collect the respective fractions, enabling gravimetric analysis by weighing the filters after measurement to determine dust concentrations. Time-resolved, online measurements are also facilitated through integrated scattered-light photometers. For repetitive applications, calibration factors can be saved and reused with the included DALO Data Logger, eliminating the need for repeated filter weighing.
