The mobile fog generator CFG 291 is designed for generating highly visible, stationary fog to visualize airflows. The FCS 249 is a mobile system designed for generating defined reference and test aerosols, allowing precise variation of particle number concentration over a wide working range. It is particularly suitable for validating condensation particle counters (CPCs) and electrical aerosol monitors used in vehicle exhaust particle number concentration measurements, following the German exhaust emission test equipment calibration guideline (AU-Geräte Kalibrierrichtlinie).

This system is ideal for calibrating and validating aerosol measurement devices, conducting comparative measurements for periodic technical inspections (PTI) of vehicles, and validating portable emission measurement systems (PEMS) for real-world exhaust gas testing.

The FCS 249 meets all NaCl test aerosol requirements and is a fully portable system that does not require compressed air but does need a power supply. It is designed for use in harsh workshop conditions and supports low-concentration NaCl solutions for commercial applications. Additional features include reactionless aerosol sampling, a touch screen interface with seven adjustable particle concentration points and trim function, making it a reliable and versatile tool for precise aerosol validation.

Dynamic Dilution System DDS 560

The DIL series dilution systems enable precise particle size and number measurements even at high concentrations, where particle counters may otherwise reach their coincidence range and produce unreliable results. These devices provide a fixed dilution ratio and are calibrated for the total volume flow rate of the particle counter.

For more flexible applications, the DDS series dynamic dilution systems allow adjustable dilution factors for total volume flows between 0.5 l/min and 3 l/min, with real-time monitoring of both values on an LCD display. These systems require no auxiliary or exhaust air, ensuring minimal maintenance and ease of use. Diffusion Dryer Unit DDU 570/H

The Diffusion Dryer DDU 570 is designed as an accessory for Topas GmbH aerosol generators, providing efficient drying of aqueous aerosols. It features a transparent acrylic tube filled with silica gel, which creates a dry environment where moisture is removed through diffusion. The aerosol flows through three mesh sleeves, maximizing the drying surface while minimizing particle loss.

The system allows easy replacement and thermal regeneration of the silica gel, with a transparent shell for quick desiccant checks. Applications include drying aqueous aerosols, generating calibration aerosols with aqueous suspensions, and serving as a nuclei source for condensation aerosol generators.

It is widely used for cleanroom acceptance testing in controlled environments.

OPQWin software

OPQWin software is an extension of PASWin, designed for acceptance testing of operating theatres according to DIN 1946-4. It guides users through the step-by-step validation process of protection class measurements for hospital operating rooms. The software determines the protection class and generates standardized reports, with options to export results to MS Excel for further analysis. OPQWin is compatible with various aerosol generators and particle counters, ensuring flexibility in cleanroom validation and compliance with healthcare ventilation standards.

PAFWin software

PAFWin is a user-friendly software designed for configuring, controlling, and analyzing data from Topas test systems, particularly for filter test rigs. Running on Windows platforms, it provides real-time visualization of test rigs and ongoing tests. The software includes specific modules for controlling aerosol generators, particle sizers, gas analyzers, and dosing systems. It supports automatic test procedures based on industry standards and enables manual control for calibration, service, and research tasks. PAFWin features long-term data logging, filter sample and test gas databases, statistical functions, and dynamic data transfer to Excel. It is applicable for differential pressure tests, dust loading capacity determination, emission testing, gas adsorption measurements, and fractional efficiency testing of air filters. The software integrates with various industrial bus systems and supports network-based data management for efficient test rig validation.

PASWin software

PASWin is a particle analyzing software designed for configuring, controlling, logging, and analyzing data from particle counters and aerosol spectrometers. Running on Windows, it supports various measurement devices, including laser aerosol spectrometers (LAP 322), cleanroom particle counters (LAP 340), and liquid particle counters (FAS 362), along with external particle measurement devices. The software enables precise calculation, calibration, and graphical or tabular representation of particle size distributions and integral parameters. It supports ISO 9276-1 and ISO 9276-2 standards, allowing manual or automated measurement procedures, real-time monitoring, and statistical analysis. PASWin is widely used for determining particle size distributions, monitoring trends, comparing measurements, and evaluating separation efficiencies, particularly in filter characterization and air quality assessments.
